Lamb pie

Well winter is well and truly here and it is time for comfort food. This recipe is easy to make and is perfect to eat on a cold winters night.

600g lamb diced
1 tin diced tomatoes
1 onion
olive oil
1-2 cups beef stock (you decide)
worcestershire sauce
puff pastry 
1 egg


Take some onion and chop. Wack it on the stove in some olive oil and brown it like so

chuck in your lamb and brown. Add a tablespoon of flower and stir

throw in your tin of tomatoes, your beef stock and a splash or two of worcesteshire sauce. Let it simmer away until thickened

Add the lamb mix to a baking dish.

place some cut puff pastry on top and brush with egg.
bake in a 180deg oven for about 30 minutes until browned on top like this

serve warm with steam vegies!
