How to crochet a ten pointed star

Using a size 4 hook and thread of choice, chain six. Slip stitch to form a ring.

Row 1: Chain 2. Double crochet ten around the ring. Slip stitch into the chain 2 of your first double crochet.

Row 2: chain two. Double crochet into the same chain space as your chain 2, chain 1, double crochet two times into the next chain space, chain 1 and repeat around until you come to the first chain 2 chain. Slip stitch into the 2nd chain to join up.

Row 3: single crochet into next 2 chain spaces. **Chain 1. Double crochet into the same space as the chain 1. Chain 3. Slip stitch into the top chain of your double crochet stitch to form a loop. Chain 2. Slip stitch into the same space you have been working. Chain 1.** Chain 1 into the next 2 chain spaces.

Repeat from ** to ** but on your last chain 1 tie off. Sew in your ends and fasten some thread on one of the loops to form a tie for you to hang!
