The perfect Lemonade Scone

Yesterday we headed over to my inlaws for afternoon tea and I needed to whip up something quick and delicious. This recipe was just the right thing. It takes literally 20 minutes from start to finish.

Ingredients
2 cups Self raising flour
1/4 cup Caster sugar
1/2 cup thickened cream
1/2 cup lemonade
2 tablespoons Milk for brushing

Method

Preheat your oven to 220 deg. Take all the ingredients and place into bowl. Mix with wooden spoon. When just combined turn out onto floured surface and lightly knead. Using a cup or cutter, cut the scones out. Place in baking tray a little spread out and brush with milk. Bake in 160 deg oven for 15-20 minutes until top is lightly browned.

Serve with lashings of jam and cream.!
