I thought that I would start with my most recent baby and work backwards, and so I give you baby number 3...Naomi Kiana.
As with all of my babies Naomi was born via C-section at our local private hospital. Her birth was much anticipated. I didn't know ehat sex she was going to be. I remember laying
there as they pulled her out, trying to think of something other than the discomfort and pain I was having and when they said "it's a girl", my heart sang. I really wanted another little girl and we were blessed with such a "little" one at that, weighing in at only 6lb 13oz.
Right away Naomi experienced some distress when breathing and it wasn't until days later that we discovered that she was having issues when she wasn't feeding really at all.
She went home and a few weeks later we were booked in for surgery for choanal stenosis of her nasal airway which was blocked and narrow. This was just the beginning sign of her issues to come, but I remember how much of a blessing she was and what an easy quiet baby she was. I wish I could do it all over again with her.....she was a delight.
{oh and look how young and fresh-faced I was!}
