New York Adventure Day One

Wow. WHAT a journey.....I feel like a walking zombie after the 22 hour journey to get here but it is so worth it. This place is amazing. The flight was great apart from the fact that I didn't think it would ever end and we are finally here. Unbelievable hey?!! Pinching myself really.

We stopped over at LA for a few hours before heading to JFK and through about a million security checks. And I finally got some shut eye on the five hour flight to New York. I think I am running on adrenaline as I am so tired!

It is amazing here. We are staying right in times square and it is vibrant and busy and colourful! Our taxi ride in made me wonder if we would live to see the city and when we arrived we had a bite to eat at TGIF (thank God it's Fridays) and then spend 2 (!!) hours shopping in Forever 21. I got some great bargains...get this girls,

: a gorgeous new bra and undie set
: knitted beanie
: singlet top
Total : $42 BARGAIN!! We are so ripped off in Oz when it comes to clothing!!

Got to skype the fam tonight. Miss them already ;)

Anyway I'm off to see the back of my eyelids...they can't stay open.
